‘Possible Threat’ Investigated At Fairfield High Schools: Police
An investigation determined there was no threat to Fairfield schools, according to police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Police investigated a “possible threat” to Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde high schools on Thursday morning, according to officials.
Police were notified early Thursday morning of a text message that mentioned a possible threat to the high schools, and it was immediately investigated, officials said.
“Security measures were implemented at both high schools during the investigation,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “It has since been determined that the text was in reference to an incident from Trumbull that occurred yesterday.

“There are no threats to the students and staff of the Fairfield Public Schools. All schools have returned to normal operations.”
