Presidential Candidate John Kasich to Take Part in Town Hall Event in Fairfield
Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich will participate in the event, which is being hosted by State Sen. Tony Hwang and Chris Shays.

Update: The event will now take place at the university's Frank and Marisa Martire Business & Communications Center at the corner of Park Avenue and Jefferson St.
Original story: Republican Presidential candidate Ohio Gov. John Kasich will take part in a Town Hall event at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield on April 8.
The event will take place at University Commons at Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Avenue, Fairfield.
Doors open at 11 a.m. and the program begins at 12 noon. Those interested in attending can register at EventBrite here.
The event is being hosted by Republican State Sen. Tony Hwang, Kasich’s Connecticut campaign chairman, and former U.S. Rep. Chris Shays.
Kasich was in Fairfield County last week when he made a quick stop in Greenwich to attend a fundraiser at Ian McKinnon’s mansion.
Many of the estimated 60 guests donated $2,700 for Kasich’s primary campaign, according to Greenwich Time.
