Racist Vandalism Reported At Fairfield Day Care: Police
Racist slurs were written on the door of the business, and garbage and broken glass were scattered on the property, police said.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A local day care was a target of racist vandalism last week in Fairfield, according to police.
The incidents were reported to law enforcement about 7 a.m. Friday by A Child’s Garden on Mona Terrace, police said. Racial slurs were written in Sharpie on the back door of the business between Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning, according to police, who added that garbage and broken glass were scattered on the property between Thursday night and Friday morning.
The case remains under investigation, police said.
