Sacred Heart University Makes Princeton Review's 'Best Colleges' List

Princeton Review rates SHU "one of the country's best institutions for undergraduate education." The Fairfield university also ranked #14 on the "Best College Radio Station" list.

in has reportedly been named to The Princeton Review's "Best 377 Colleges" list for 2013.

The Massachusetts-based standardized test preparation and admissions consulting company rates SHU "one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education,” according to a press release. SHU also ranked #14 on the “Best College Radio Station” list.

The annual list — which is based on the results of student surveys — states that SHU's proximity to New York City means students majoring in business, finance, media studies, and other disciplines have "tremendous opportunities” for internships.

Only about 15% of the approximately 2,500 four-year colleges in the US are profiled in the "Best 377 Colleges" list, in which schools are rated in eight categories.

In July reported that Sacred Heart University had purchased property at 2300 Reservoir Ave. in Trumbull (the Henderson Hardware property) for $4.75 million. However the University is yet to announce what it intends to do with the site.
