Save the Children to Tee Up Brighter Future for Kids Sept. 27 at The Patterson Club

Inaugural Golf Classic to Benefit Fairfield-Based Save the Children

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (Sept. 6, 2016) – Members of the Fairfield community and other enthusiastic supporters will hit the links at The Patterson Club in Fairfield Sept. 27 to tee up a brighter future for kids at Save the Children’s 2016 Golf Classic.

Presented by leading global apparel company PVH Corp., the inaugural golf event will benefit Fairfield-based Save the Children’s programs, which give children in the United States and around the world a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

“While aiming for the pin on the course, golfers can also give kids a shot at changing the course of their futures,” said Carolyn Miles, president and CEO of Save the Children. “Save the Children is tremendously grateful to presenting sponsor PVH -- the parent company of well-known brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and IZOD – and all of the participants for making our first Golf Classic a reality. Local events like this, right here in our hometown, can go a long way in helping Save the Children continue to achieve lasting impact for millions of the world’s most vulnerable girls and boys.”
