SBC Restaurant and Brewery Closes in Southport

Southport, CT — The SBC Restaurant & Brewery location in Southport has closed.

The restaurant permanently closed its doors on June 29 after 20 years in business, according to a Facebook post.

“Thank you to all our guests for an amazing 20 years!!” SBC posted on its Facebook page on June 30 along with the following note to announce the closing.

“After 20 years, SBC Southport will close permanently on June 29, 2016. We thank you for your support, loyalty and kindness. We will miss the many friends and great memories we’ve made together over the years.”

The post also encouraged patrons to visit their Milford location and sister restaurants Local Kitchen and Beer Bar and The Sitting Duck Tavern.
