Scenes for New Movie Filmed in Fairfield
Crews for an independent Pakistani film were in town last week.

Jennings Beach and Lake Mohegan acted as a stand-in for New York for several scenes of a new Pakistani movie that were filmed in Fairfield last week, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports that crews for the independent film “Dobara Phir Se,” which translates to “And Then Again,” were in town last Thursday.
The film is a romantic drama about two Pakistani expatriates who live in New York, meet there and fall in love, and take a road trip to upstate New York to visit with family, according to the Citizen.

The filmmakers told the Citizen they were looking for a place that was “pretty and picturesque,” to shoot certain scenes and that led them to Fairfield. The movie is scheduled to be released in Pakistan.
