Secret Service Responds to Fairfield Home After Reported Threat: Report
A reported threat regarding a presidential candidate prompted a response from the Secret Service and police on Monday night.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield man who made an “off-color” remark about harming Hillary Clinton received a visit from the Secret Service and Fairfield Police at his home on Monday night, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the man made the comment while he was exercising and talking with another man at the Southport Racquet Club and another person overheard it and contacted authorities.
The man wasn’t charged because it wasn’t deemed to be a credible threat, according to the Post.
