Suspect Accused Of Supplying Drugs In Fatal Fairfield Overdose: Police
The victim was found unresponsive at a home on Mill Plain Road in December, and was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A 22-year-old Milford man has been arrested in connection with a fatal overdose that occurred in Fairfield in December 2025, according to authorities.
Fairfield police said officers responded on Dec. 27 to a home on Mill Plain Road for a report of an unresponsive man. Despite lifesaving efforts, the individual was pronounced dead.
An investigation by Fairfield police detectives determined the death resulted from acute intoxication caused by the combined effects of cocaine, fentanyl and alcohol.

During the investigation, detectives developed Connor Dushay as the suspect.

Police obtained an arrest warrant charging Dushay with sale of a narcotic substance, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and possession of a controlled substance, second offense.
Dushay surrendered to police on March 19 and was held in lieu of bail of $100,000, which was set by Bridgeport Superior Court. He appeared in court the same day, and was released after posting bond; his next scheduled court date is April 17.
"This case highlights the ongoing dangers associated with illicit drug use, particularly the presence of fentanyl, a highly potent substance that is often mixed with other drugs and can significantly increase the risk of overdose," Wellington said. "The Fairfield Police Department reminds the community that Fairfield is not immune to the impacts of drug use and overdose deaths."
