Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested at Fairfield Train Station: Report

Police received a tip about possible drug sales taking place at the train station.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport man with 42 prior arrests is accused of selling drugs at the Fairfield Metro train station, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Daniel Lopez, 54, was arrested after police received a tip about possible drug sales taking place at the train station.

Lopez was found to be in the possession of crack cocaine, 11 oxycodone pills, a small amount of marijuana, a glass pipe and a man’s wallet, according to the Post.

The wallet belonged to the man who had called police about the drug sales and Lopez allegedly told officers that the man was a friend of his and gave him a ride to the train station and asked him to hold onto the wallet, according to the Post.
