Teaching Positions Among Available Jobs In Fairfield Public Schools

FAIRFIELD, CT — With the 2023-24 school year not too far off, Fairfield has more than 50 jobs currently available in the public school system, according to the district.

Among the positions available include teaching posts at all three levels — elementary, middle and high school — maintenance and custodial positions, secretarial, and a program director spot.

It's important to note that just because a school district is looking to hire for a position, it doesn't mean it's a new position added to the budget.

It could be a seasonal job, or one that fills a vacancy or even to fulfill a mandate, including in the special education program.
