Teens, 13 And 16, Crash Stolen Car While Fleeing Fairfield Police, Officials Say
The teens hit a vehicle and a traffic barrier on Interstate 95, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two teens who were fleeing Fairfield police in a stolen car hit a vehicle and crashed into a traffic barrier on Interstate 95, law enforcement said.
The teens, aged 13 and 16, were taken into custody after the collision, according to police, who said the 16-year-old had minor leg abrasions. No one else was injured.
The incident began about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, when officers saw the Toyota Camry — which was stolen Saturday in an armed carjacking in North Haven — on the Post Road near Beach Road, according to police. The officers followed the vehicle on northbound I-95 from Exit 22 to Exit 27, at which point they tried to stop the car, police said. As the Camry neared Exit 27A, it crossed several lanes of traffic and crashed into the other vehicle and the barrier, according to police.
