Teens ‘Bragged’ About Pursuit, Burglarizing Cars: Fairfield PD

Four teens were arrested after a pursuit in a stolen vehicle ended in a crash earlier this week.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Four teens were arrested for burglarizing vehicles in Fairfield after a pursuit with police in a stolen Lexus ended in a crash early Tuesday morning in Norwalk, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports the driver, a 17-year-old from Stratford, and passengers Christopher Mulkern, 18, of Stratford, Maya Jeter, 19, of Bridgeport, and a 16-year-old from Bridgeport, were all charged in connection to car burglaries on Southport Ridge and Woodrow Avenue.

During the booking process, police said Jeter and the two juveniles were bragging about the pursuit and how they were breaking into cars, according to the Citizen.
