Town Of Fairfield: 6.4 TOWN UPDATE
See the latest announcement from the Town of Fairfield.
6/4/2021
Dear Fairfielders, Most people don’t realize how much work goes into planning a parade or that the Town was preparing to cancel the Memorial Day parade, up until the Governor changed the State sector rules in May. I'm proud of our Emergency Management Director Denis McCarthy and the parade planning committee, led by Town Clerk Betsy Browne Miller, for their good work in quickly switching gears. I want to personally thank Betsy for all her hard work in helping to organize an amazing parade for our community on short notice.

Memorial Day was the perfect first Town wide event after a very difficult year. It was a true honor to walk alongside our Veterans to memorialize the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. You can view photos of the day below and linked here on my Facebook page. It was a true honor to walk alongside our Veterans to memorialize the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. During the parade, the Fairfield Rotary Club collected more than $6,000 in their orange buckets for Homes for the Brave. We appreciate all the support from our residents for this important organization.
