Waitress Punched In Face During Diner Brawl: Fairfield Police
The waitress was reportedly trying to break up a large fight between about 12 women during the early morning hours over the weekend.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A waitress was punched in the face while attempting to break up a large fight between about 12 women at Andros Diner early Saturday morning, according to multiple reports.
The Fairfield Daily Voice reports police responded to the diner on Villa Avenue at about 3 a.m. on the report of a large fight in which tables were upended and items were thrown around.
The two separate groups of women were from multiple towns and didn’t know each other, according to the Fairfield Minuteman. Police received conflicting statements on who started the brawl. (To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

One woman, Raven Holmes, 35, of New Haven, was arrested after she was allegedly still “yelling and acting aggressively” when police arrived on the scene, the Minuteman reports.
The Daily Voice reports that Holmes told police she was out bar-hopping with friends before going to the diner and claimed the other group of women started the fight.
