Warde, Ludlowe Ranked Among Best High Schools In CT

Both public high schools in Fairfield were recently ranked among the best in the state, with one local school making the top 10.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Both public high schools in Fairfield were recently ranked among the best in Connecticut, with one local school making the top 10.

Fairfield Warde High School was ranked No. 9 in the state, while Fairfield Ludlowe High School came in at No. 25, according to a list by data journalism website Stacker, compiled with rankings from Niche.

Niche relies on eight weighted factors to determine its rankings, including academics, culture and diversity, community surveys, teachers, activities, health and safety, resources and sports, according to Stacker.

Warde was ranked between No. 10 finisher Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut in Groton and No. 8 contender Glastonbury High School, Stacker reported. Ludlowe came in last on the list of the state’s top 25 public high schools, just behind the Center for Global Studies in Norwalk.
