Water Main Break Reported In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police are alerting residents that a water main break is expected to affect the area of 2101-2325 Burr Street for the next 6 to 8 hours.

“During and after the outage event, some customers may experience discolored water,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “You may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking, and delay clothes washing until water is clear. Run your cold water faucet until the water appears clear, prior to resuming use for these purposes.”
