Weather Shuts Norwalk Oyster Fest Sat. Night -- Tix Honored Sun -- No Joan Jett for Us
The Norwalk Seaport Association announced early this evening that concerns about the weather closed the festival for the night.
Tickets for the Norwalk Oyster Festival for Saturday will be honored Sunday, but not Saturday night, organizers said, because the festival has closed due to the weather.
If you were going to see Joan Jett an the Blackhearts tonight, you’re out of luck.

After consulting with both police and fire officials about today’s weather concerns, we are regretfully cancelling the remainder of tonight’s Oyster Festival festivities for everyone’s safety.
We regret any inconvenience, but public safety is our main concern. For guests who bought a ticket for tonight, we will be glad to honor today’s tickets if we reopen tomorrow.
