CT Weather: 'Wild' Weather In The Forecast This Weekend

There are really no words to describe the severe weather changes in the forecast over the next few days.

If you go outside Saturday afternoon you will believe that spring weather has finally arrived and we're finally done with the remnants of winter. Wrong. In fact, an "epic" cold front will move through Saturday evening dropping temps by up to 40 degrees, which will set the stage for a downright cold and nasty Sunday. Parts of Connecticut may even see some freezing rain on Sunday. And this is one day after temps could climb into the 70s.

And on Monday, the turbulent forecast continues as temps climb again to 60 degrees but we'll see heavy rain and likely thunderstorms. It will definitely be a wild few days of weather. And after Monday's rain soaker, temps still remain chilly through the end of next week. Hard to fathom that we're about six weeks away from Memorial Day.
