FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield resident is $102,499 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Tuesday, Brian Marshall had a pleasant Valentine's Day when he claimed a winning "FAST PLAY - $5 LIGHTNING FAST CA$H PROGRESSIVE" ticket he bought at Tony D's, on the Post Road.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials.
