Porter's to Host Kara Wolters' Dream Big Basketball Camp

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Miss Porter's School will host Kara Wolters' Dream Big Basketball Camp from July 18 through 22. The camp is open to girls in grades six through 12, and features an experienced staff including Kara Wolters and UConn players.

At the Dream Big Basketball Camp, girls will hone their offensive, defensive, and team skills through practice drills and full-court games. Each morning will feature a session focused on a specific skill of the day. For more information and to register, visit www.karawolters.com.

A 1997 UConn graduate, Ms. Wolters played for four years under UConn's Coach Geno Auriemma, winning the 1995 NCAA Championship with a 35-0 record. She is one of only six athletes in the world to have achieved the elusive "set": an NCAA Championship (1995), the WNBA Championship (1999), and an Olympic gold medal (2000). She has also won a World Championship (1998) and was a gold medalist at the World University Games. Ms. Wolters currently serves as the color analyst for UConn Women's Basketball on the WTIC radio network.
