Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- At the conclusion of the 2017-18 academic year, 18 graduating seniors from Eastern Connecticut State University were recognized at the Honors Program Reception. Among those celebrated was Andrea Slater of Farmington, who majors in History and Sociology. Slater's thesis is titled "Social Impact of the Development and Decline of Streetcars in Hartford, 1900-1950."
- Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its spring 2018 semester Dean's List for full-time students. Honorees from Farmington and their majors are: Michael Tuttle, Psychology and Mathematics; Andrea Slater, History and Sociology; Olivia Bednarek, Elementary Education and Visual Arts; Ian Joerres, Visual Arts; and Thomas Manfredi, Computer Science. In order to be named to the Dean's List, Eastern students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester.
University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

- Three Farmington students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2018: Dana Prisloe, BS in Social Work, Summa Cum Laude; Magdalyne Kucharski, BA in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude; and Jordyn Rappaport, BA in Cmn:Business Applications. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0, and students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84.
Wesleyan University, Middletown CT
- Jordan Tragash of Farmington earned a BA degree in Economics and Theater from Wesleyan University at the Commencement ceremony on May 26.
