Bank Robber Sought By Farmington Police
The bandit robbed a Unionville bank early Friday evening.
FARMINGTON, CT — Police are seeking a man who robbed the Peoples Bank branch inside the Unionville Stop & Shop early Friday evening.
Around 6:29 p.m., Farmington police responded to the store, located at 1799 Farmington Avenue, for a reported bank robbery. The male suspect showed the bank teller a note implying he had a gun and demanded money, police said.
The man appears to be the same suspect from similar robberies in Waterbury, Bristol, Bridgeport, and other towns in Connecticut, police said.

Detectives from the Farmington Police Department are actively following up. Anyone recognizing the suspect, is asked to call Detective Blumetti at 860-675-2462, or the Farmington Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 860-675-2483.
