On Campus - Farmington College Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University extends congratulations to the Farmington students who have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester: Giselle Alvarez, class of 2018; Nolan Glenn, class of 2018; Kyle Gudewicz, class of 2021; and Joseph Siuta, class of 2019.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• A cohort of high-achieving psychology students from Eastern Connecticut State University were honored at the annual Psychology Honors Night and Psi Chi Induction Ceremony on April 23. Among the recognized students were Ismael Rivera of Farmington, who majors in Health Sciences and Psychology and was inducted into Psi Chi, and Michael Tuttle of Farmington, who majors in Psychology and Mathematics and was inducted into Psi Chi. Psi Chi is the international honor society for the field of psychology. Eastern students who are inducted into Psi Chi must attain a 3.5 GPA in psychology and a 3.0 GPA overall.
