FARMINGTON, CT — College students from Farmington recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.
Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD
- Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
Local students who have achieved this honor are Kaitlynn O'Brien, class of 2020 from Unionville; Caitlin O'Sullivan, class of 2019 from Farmington; Kathryn Ray, class of 2018 from Farmington; Connor Schreck, class of 2019 from Farmington; and Taylor Schreck, class of 2018 from Farmington.

- Todd Straceski of Unionville graduated from RIT with an MS in computing security. Some 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students received their degrees during RIT's 132nd commencement celebration in May.
Union College, Schenectady NY
- Julianne Loree, of Farmington, was named to the 2017 Dean's List at Union College. Loree is a member of the Class of 2018, majoring in Economics and Political Science. To be named to the Dean's List, Union students must have a grade point average of 3.5 for the entire academic year and meet certain other requirements.
