FARMINGTON, CT — College students from Farmington recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Brianna Goz, a Clinical Health Studies major, was named to the Dean's List in Ithaca College's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance for the spring 2017 semester.

Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT

• Nine members of the Southern Connecticut State University gymnastics team, including Brianna Rovella of Farmington, were named 2017 Scholar-Athletes by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women. Student-athletes must have a either a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 or a current academic year GPA of at least 3.5 in order to qualify for the honor.
