Assumption College, Worcester MA

  • Matthew Cowles, of Farmington, was one of 617 graduates to receive a degree during Assumption College's 101st Commencement exercises on Sunday, May 13, held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA, in which speaker The Most Reverend Robert E. Barron, S.T.D., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and evangelist who uses various forms of media, in particular social media, to share the Gospel message and one of the most-followed Catholics on social media, delivered the Commencement address. Cowles received a bachelor's degree during the ceremony.

Bucknell University, Lewisburg PA

  • Catherine MacKay, Class of 2021, from Unionville, was named to the dean's list at Bucknell University during the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
