FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from Farmington, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Clemson University, Clemson SC

• Ian David Quisenberry of Farmington has been named to the President's List at Clemson University for the fall 2016 semester. Quisenberry is majoring in Pre-Business. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Ithaca College congratulates local students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Brianna Goz, a resident of Unionville and Clinical Health Studies major, was named to the Dean's List in Ithaca College's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, while Madalyn Trombley, a resident of Farmington and Environmental Studies major, was named to the Dean's List in Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences.

Lafayette College, Easton PA

• Jason Corcoran of Farmington has been named to the 2016 fall semester Dean's List at Lafayette College for outstanding academic achievement. To qualify for Dean's List, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a scale of 4.0.

Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD

• Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2016 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits. Honorees from Farmington are Caitlin O'Sullivan, Kathryn Ray and Connor Schreck.
