We have been going through and loading up the TiVo with the new shows to check them out. Here’s a helpful TiVo hint from me to you: do a keyword search for “Pilot” and then go through the list and snag all the new shows. 99 percent of them entitle the first episode: Pilot. Also, you sometimes find some fun first episodes in the list that you end up revisiting. I recently watched the pilot of CSI. Wow, that was good. Among the new CBS shows are “2 Broke Girls,” “Unforgettable,” “How to Be a Gentleman,” “Persons of Interest” and “A Gifted Man.”

The Millionaire Matchmaker, 9 p.m., Bravo

“Brandon Broussard is a down to earth Southern gentleman; William Stern is a phony baloney banker.” I love when Patti deals with phony baloney.

Burn Notice, 9 p.m., USA

You know I quit this last year at the season finale, when Michael was again “kidnapped” and taken to an “undisclosed location” for the umpteenth time. Enough. And I feel vindicated with the plot summary of this year’s season finale: “Michael must perform a desperate act to clear his name; Larry returns with a job.” Been there, done that. Although I do miss Fiona and Sam a little.
