Deadline Nears For Sports Journalism Scholarship
An award of $2,500 is made to one high school senior in Connecticut planning to major in sports media.

FARMINGTON, CT — Just one week remains to apply for the Bohdan Kolinsky Memorial Sports Journalism Scholarship, presented by the Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance. This one-time award of $2,500 honors the memory of Bohdan Kolinsky, longtime school sports editor of the Hartford Courant, who died in 2003.
The scholarship is awarded to a high school senior from Connecticut who is admitted to an accredited four-year college for study leading to a career in sports journalism. Apply now online.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 23, 2018. The scholarship winner will be announced in early April and honored on April 29, 2018 at the Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance's 77th annual Gold Key Dinner.
