Denis M. Horrigan, of Connecticut Wealth Management, joins the Board at Hartford Youth Scholars.

Connecticut Wealth Management, LLC (CTWM) is proud to announce that Denis M. Horrigan, Partner at CTWM, has joined the Board of the Hartford Youth Scholars as a Director.

Hartford Youth Scholars (HYS) is committed to ensuring that deserving students from Hartford succeed in high school and college. HYS created an intensive 10 year support system for students and their families and an exceptional academic enrichment program. HYS prepares highly motivated middle school students for a rigorous high school education; assists them in gaining acceptance and financial assistance at top college preparatory schools; and supports them through the college application process, college experience, and beyond. The goal is to help Hartford’s underserved children realize their true, powerful potential so they can then help their communities and their city do the same.

“We are committed to educating our clients about the importance of mapping out a financial plan to achieve their goals,” said Denis M. Horrigan, “I now have the opportunity to make a difference in student’s lives by helping the HYS Board develop plans that will help students pursue and achieve their dreams. The level of commitment that these scholars and their families display is absolutely amazing”. Mr. Horrigan has been involved in educational programs designed to enrich the lives of high school students throughout his career.
