Artist Carol Lowbeer will display her work in the Gilbert Gallery at Miss Porter's School from December 2 through 23. Ms. Lowbeer will show her collection of photography. The Gilbert Gallery is located at 60 Main Street, Farmington. Visitors should check in with the receptionist before proceeding to the exhibit. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Ms. Lowbeer specializes in portraiture with a keen interest in nature photography. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and her work has been featured in community newspapers and various exhibition venues, including the Audubon Society's annual exhibition in Glastonbury, Conn., Elizabeth Park's Pond House Gallery, and the Farmington and Barney Libraries.
