Farmington Obituary: Dorothy Larkin, 92

Dorothy M. Larkin, 92, devoted wife and mother, passed away on Thursday October 8, 2015 in Three Mile Bay, New York.

Dotty was born March 31, 1923 in Unionville and moved to Plainville in 1943 when she married Edward W. Larkin, Sr. She was the daughter of Jack and Mary Driscoll. She worked at Woolworths and then for many years at the Travelers Insurance Company before retiring. Dot and Ed loved camping and camped for many years, especially in the Adirondacks. She was also an avid New York Yankees fan. For many years they wintered in Florida.

Dorothy leaves behind her sons, Harold (Hal) and his wife Susan with whom she lived and Edward (Bud) and his wife Cindy, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and her sister Beverly Farnham. She was predeceased by her brother Walter Driscoll.

A graveside service will be held on Monday October 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Plainville West Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Jefferson County 1398 Gotham Street Watertown, NY 13601.
