Farmington Obituary: Nancy Cubelli, 72

Nancy A. Cubelli, 72, of Unionville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with her loving children by her side and in her heart.

Born May 16, 1943 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Maria (Zeolla) Guerrera.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Michael G. Cubelli Jr., and his husband Ranie Stratton of Burlington, Deborah M. Rinehart and her husband Phillip of Avon and Peter A. Cubelli and his wife Rose of Monroe. She was the loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, Erin, Jason and Allison Rinehart and Ryan and Ava Cubelli. She also leaves her brother, John Guerrera of Shelton, her sister, Mary Iamarino and her husband Joseph of New Smyrna Beach, FL, her two nephews, Joseph Iamarino Jr., Dan Iamarino and her niece, Belinda Pacowta.

Nancy was a kind and compassionate mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her and always put others first. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and being surrounded by her family.

Family and friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Friday, Sept. 25 from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Saturday, Sept. 26 at 9:15am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00am.
