Farmington Obituary: Richard Phelon, 77

Richard A. Phelon, 77, of Unionville, died peacefully on April 19th at UConn Medical Center.

Born in Hartford to Howard and Mildred (Kowalker) Phelon, Richard resided for many years in Burlington.

He is survived by his wife Judy, his children, Karen Phelon and Jennifer Craig, along with her husband Jason and their children Abby and Hailey, his sister Betty Colannino, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Tapley.

He was employed by the engineering department at the Town of West Hartford for many years.

At his request, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance in West Hartford.
