Farmington Police Step Up Traffic Law Enforcement
A highly visible, concentrated effort will be conducted during the 2015 Farmington Police Holiday Safety Campaign.

As the holiday season approaches, the Farmington Police Department is dedicating its efforts to increasing awareness of safe driving to help reduce motor vehicle collisions and the injuries suffered by targeting violations of motor vehicle law. It is important to remind the motoring public of the three basic rules of highway safety:
- Always buckle up
- Obey posted speed limits and all traffic laws
- Never drink and drive
Officers will be stepping up the enforcement of safety belt, child safety seat, speed, and DUI laws heading into the holiday season. A highly visible, concentrated effort will be conducted during the 2015 Farmington Police Holiday Safety Campaign.
The enforcement period is in effect through January 4th, 2016. The primary area of enforcement will be on Route 4 in the Route 10 area in Farmington. However, we will enforce these laws throughout the entire town of Farmington.
