Farmington Street Closed After Utility Wires Come Down: PD
The incident late Monday afternoon comes as the state is being hit with high winds all day.

FARMINGTON, CT — A local roadway has been closed down Monday afternoon as high winds have appeared to have contributed to utility wires coming down.
According to the Farmington Police Department, Meadow Road is closed between Garden Street and Red Oak Hill Road due to the incident.
Police said utility repair crews are responding, but there is no estimate as to when the road will will reopen.

The FPD issued an alert on the situation at 3:58 p.m.
