Farmington Street Has Now Reopened: UPDATE

FARMINGTON, CT — The strong wind/rain storm overnight had caused some issues for motorists in Farmington, with police reporting the closure of one roadway Thursday morning.

But that road, as of early Thursday afternoon, has now reopened.

The Farmington Police Department said Fienemann Road was shut down between Batterson Park Road and Slater Road due to downed utility wires.

Police said the road would be closed "until further notice" as crews respond to the scene.

According to a police announcement at 12:54 p.m., the road had now reopened.
