New Greenhouse Operations Approved For Farmington Tractor Supply Store
The Farmington Planning and Zoning Commission approved the measure unanimously.
FARMINGTON, CT — The local zoning board this week unanimously said "yes" to Tractor Supply Co.'s plans to expand its offerings and build a greenhouse at its Farmington store.
The Farmington Planning and Zoning Commission Monday voted unanimously to approve its site plan application to build the greenhouse at its 361 Scott Swamp Road retail establishment.
Colleen Kurniawan of Onyx Creative, an engineering design firm representing Tractor Supply, presented the request to add a greenhouse center within the fenced area west of the existing store.

The site plan indicated a greenhouse area, customer pickup/drive thru area within the outdoor sales area and site circulation improvements.
Commissioners only had general clarification questions about the size of the garden center and hours of operation.
Meanwhihle, the applicant confirmed they understood the signs are to be permitted separately.
