FHS Instrument Drive a Success!

The drive benefits students and families who can not afford to participate in the district's instrumental program.

On Saturday, April 28th, Farmington High School sponsored a musical instrument drive to benefit students who can not participate in the district’s beginning instrumental program. FHS junior, Rohit Limaye was the project leader for this new initiative. He contacted two Music store owners Mike Seery of Seery Strings and Jim Martocchio of Martocchio Music, who volunteered to appraise and analyze repairs of the donated instruments.

Farmington residents, students and teachers donated instruments for the drive making it a big success!! The FHS music teachers, Friends of Music, and the Tri-M Music Honor Society organized the incoming instruments.
