Despite a snowy weather cancelling school today, the show will go on tonight! This year Farmington High School will present Fiddler on the Roof on March 8-10 at 7:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased in advance through www.showtix4u.com or at the show for $15, adults and $10, students. Tickets may be purchased at the door tonight also.
The musical show written by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick is directed by Katie Buckley and assistant director, Vanessa Clarke. Music direction is by pit director, Tom Johnston and vocal directors, Louise Carrozza and Leslie Imse. The collaborative efforts of the Art and Construction departments for set design and assembly provide the setting of a realistic Russian village. The AudioVisual department created lighting and sound support to enhance the production throughout performances. The pit orchestra is comprised of district music educators and student musicians. Student stage managers, choreographers, ushers, and marketing ensure important production management.
Don't miss this amazing show celebrating the talents of Farmington students and educators. It highlights the collaborative spirit of the high school and community together supporting the arts and humanities.
