GoFundMe Set Up For South Windsor Mom Badly Hurt In Farmington Crash
She was critically hurt in a three-vehicle accident in Farmington last Friday, March 29.
FARMINGTON/SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A GoFundMe page has been opened to raise money for the South Windsor mother who was badly hurt in a multi-vehicle crash last Friday in Farmington.
The woman, Elizabeth "Liz" Pitroff, was critically injured in a three-vehicle crash on Fienemann Road in Farmington on March 29.
According to the Farmington Police Department, the crash was near the Interstate 84 East on-ramp late Friday afternoon.

Police said one person — Pitroff — was transported from the scene by Lifestar helicopter to an area hospital.
According to Kayla Bissonette, a friend of Pitroff, and Nile Rozie, Pitroff's fiance, she is expected to miss time off from work as she recovers from her injuries.

As a result, both have set up a GoFundMe page, with a $30,000 goal being sought.
"Elizabeth, fondly known as Liz, is cherished by all who know her. She's not only a driven, intelligent career woman, but also an exceptional mother," wrote Bissonnette.
"Liz effortlessly balances her roles as a mother, spouse, sister, and friend, always offering unwavering support to her loved ones. Now, as she faces the aftermath of a tragic car accident on Friday, March 29, she's in critical but stable condition, with her recovery status evolving day by day.
"Despite the challenges ahead, Liz remains resilient, and we're rallying around her and her family during this difficult time."
Donations are being sought to help with medical expenses and from being absent from work due to her injuries.
As of Thursday morning, $15,085 has been raised toward the $30,000 goal.
