IAR Presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella - G2K - Friday, March 31 & Saturday, April 1

Irving A. Robbins (IAR) Middle School is proud to present Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella G2K on Friday, March 31 at 7 PM and Saturday, April 1 at 2 and 7 PM in the IAR Auditorium at 20 Wolf Pit Road in Farmington.

The musical is a delightful adaptation of Disney's beloved tale, and the IAR student cast and ensemble brings the story to life once again with delightful acting, singing, and dancing. Students were involved in all aspects of the production, from creating artwork, including the program by Carissa Dwyer, to being the production crew members.

The director is Penelope Kokines Sanborn, the musical director is Karla McClain, and the producer is Amy Haber. IAR's custodial staff, art teachers, library media specialist, administration, teachers, and parents volunteered and were essential to the success of the production. Many local businesses contributed to the production as well.

"There is a place for what each individual has to offer in the hard and creative work of play and musical production," said Ms. Sanborn. "My dream is that they carry this interest in their hearts as they grow and attend high school, college and the grown up world of life."
