Lorissa (Paruske) Matthew, 66; Designed, Made Fashions

Lorissa (Paruske) Matthew of Unionville and York, SC, passed away with her family at her side on July 31, 2014. She was 66.

She was born on Sept. 3, 1947, the daughter of John and Maryline (Mathieu) Paruske.

She completed her education in the Farmington school system and Goodwin Tech in fashion design. Although she never worked in that field, she designed and made fashions for many friends and family. Her favorite thing to do was make clothes and give them away to people that were less fortunate than her.

Lorissa is survived by her brother Richard Paruske, his wife Margaret, niece Kris, and nephew Mat. She also leaves many friends in Unionville, especially the Westerly Hookers.

Memorial service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
