May Readings by the River

This month's readings will focus on the environment.

Farmington River Literary Arts Center announces its schedule of May Sunday Readings by the River at 4 p.m. This month's theme is Our Environment.

May 6: Steve Grant, a 29-yr.career veteran  of the Hartford Courant and award-wining journalist will present highlights from his environmental writings and present “Daily Observations: Thoreau on the Days of the Year.” - thestevegrantwebsite.com.

May 20: Steven Gephard, Biologist, Ct. DEP.,  Inland Fisheries Div. will present “A Fishway For Your Stream” including the plans to restore salmon to the Farmington River.
