Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Thirty-six student-athletes from Eastern Connecticut State University qualified for the Little East Conference (LEC) All-Academic Team in the spring 2017 semester. In order to qualify for the team, student-athletes must have achieved sophomore academic and athletic status with cumulative GPAs of at least 3.30. Among the qualifiers is Michael Underwood of Farmington, a member of the track and field team who majors in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Alexis Kerlejza of Unionville, who is studying physician assistant, made the Dean's List for the 2017 spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• The 46th Commencement of Tunxis Community College was held on May 25 in the College’s courtyard.A total of 307 graduates were conferred associate degrees and certificates. Those who were conferred degrees in December 2016 were also recognized at the ceremony.
