Pit Bull Involved In Accident In Farmington Still On The Loose: Police
BREAKING: Police say the pit bull is likely very scared and they are advising anyone that sees the dog to call police.

"Rosco is still eluding capture. He was spotted last on Saturday afternoon (March 5) in the woods between Taine Mountain Rd (Burlington) and Collinsville Rd (Unionville). If you see him please do not yell to him and quietly call animal control at (860) 675-2440. You can try to throw food towards him to keep him close while we respond. He will run away from any and all loud noises including voices. Please continue to share this post with friends in the area. Thank you!"

For background:
On March 1, "Rosco" the white and tan pit bull ran away when the car he was in was involved in an accident on Collinsville Rd (RT 4) near River Rd. He was last seen behind some homes on Perry St. If you see him please contact dispatch at 860-675-2400 and do not chase or attempt to capture him. He is very scared and will likely not respond to attempts to capture.
