Plenty of Charity Golf Outings Upcoming in Hartford and Tolland Counties
The next few months bring numerous chances to play some of the best golf courses in the region, while supporting worthwhile causes.

Summer is beginning to wind down, but that does not mean the end of golfing season. In fact, autumn golf in Connecticut affords some great opportunities to enjoy true New England atmosphere while on the links, and numerous chances to help support worthwhile causes while playing a private course or perhaps a public layout which you've never tackled before.
In Hartford and Tolland counties, there are about two dozen charity golf outings scheduled from now through October. Entry fees range from $100 to $300, and beneficiaries range from animal shelters to cancer research to school programs.
Patch editors in north-central Connecticut have compiled this listing of upcoming events at clubs in the region or benefiting charities based here. If you are conducting a tournament which is not listed, please email complete information to tim.jensen@patch.com to be added to the story.
