According to the CT Mirror, the Democrats in the CGA are planning to pretend [LIE but don't worry it is legal because the state did not adopt GAAP] that $400 million in Medicaid spending [actual spending] will not occur in the fiscal period. So if they LIE about what they actually spend, they will not be breaking the law [the spending cap law that was put in place when the income tax was adopted, a law designed to prevent the out of control growth of government spending - yeah right]. The Collective always protects the ruling elites, after all isn't that why we have a Collective?
On reconsideration what's the big deal. Governor Mao Loy and the Democrat controlled CGA LIE about the 21.1 billions in unrecognized and unfunded pension and retirement health care liabilities for state employees so what's another $400 million when we are talking about a reelection!
There is no shame in Hartford. All that matters is the 2014 election and cutting spending or raising taxes again is not a good way to get elected so the B Plan is to spend it anyway and just LIE about it! Either the economy will improve or "we can increase taxes on those not paying their fair share after the elections".
AND THE SHEEPLE WILL SAY BAAH AND REELECT THE SAME DEMOCRAT HACKS [I say Democrats in this rant because the Republicans are not supporting this LIE].
The Citizen is Sovereign! Sheeple have forgotten the underlying principles of our Republic! Your elected Representatives have LIED to you over and over again. The Lie has been repeated so often, you believe that it is true. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO HAVE YOUR WANTS MET BY THE COLLECTIVE! THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH! Government can not have powers that the Citizen does not already have. And, class warfare always ends in sadness [thank you Bartok]! The tab is coming due and when it does it will not be pretty. The goal of most Collectivists in Hartford is to delay the day of reckoning [as in the Dutch "de rekening alstublieft"] until such time as a collapse can occur [please explain any other rational explanation of their bad behavior]. Only after a collapse can they hope to complete the fundamental transformation of our country "closer to the hearts desire" [you go Team Fabians] and defeat the Constitutional Republic.
Government is too big, too expensive, too inefficient and TOO CORRUPT! Just ask yourself if you could pretend with impunity that you did not actually spend $400 million dollars? If you do not have the right, privilege, authority or ability to do something, then the government should not. Government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. If you can't do it then you can not give [lend] the power to the government to do it! This is one of the foundational principles of our Republic and it is time we got back to basics!
It is a shame that we can not bring criminal charges against Governor Mao Loy and his merry band of redistributionists and collectivists in the CGA who are perpetrating this fraud against the Citizens of CT. Lacking this ability, the Sovereign Citizens of the State of CT should vote them out of office [along with all Progressive Republicans] and replaced them with Sovereign Citizens who support limited government, individual freedoms, personal responsibility, and fiscal responsibility.
