Porter's swim and dive team earned third place in the Founders League Championships, held Wednesday, February 22 (diving) at Westminster School and Saturday, February 25 (swimming) at Miss Porter's School.
During the diving championships, all four Porter's divers placed in the top 16. Miriam Mathew '18 earned third with a personal best of 319.6, Kennedy Perrenoud '17 scored fourth, Ella Warner '20 placed sixth, and Maddy Allen '19 placed fourteenth.
During the swimming championships, Porter's medley relay team, comprised of Avery Metcalfe '19, Marissa Chow '20, Maggie Menendez '18, and Annie Wertheimer '18, placed third with a time of 1.55.70. Strong individual performances included Marissa Chow (first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.74) and Avery Metcalf (third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1.00.85).
